Ahhh! It's 2013, you know what that means...it's officially the year Swoon and I tie the knot. Only 9 months to go. I cannot believe it.
We are knee deep in planning with my amazing wedding planner Tori Hendrix from Sitting In A Tree (she's the best!) and I've been working on designing my wedding dress with my favorite brand Watters. Before they started a single stitch, the whole team flew out to Los Angeles to host a Watters trunk show at the happiest place on earth, no not Disneyland, Lovely Bride.
I visited Lovely Bride (and met manger Merrill who is like the cool, hip fashionable sister you wish you had) and tried on all the dresses from the brand new Watters collection for inspiration for my final dress. I'm obsessed with their use of color- pale grey, baby pink. I am also in love with their use of lace, vintage darlings eat your heart out! They also had this AMAZING veil, full of glitter- I HAD to try it on....
The shoppe is a little, quaint white bridal-wonderland in Los Angeles (they have one in NYC too) that stocked unique dresses that you could never find in the mega-stores. Everything is tres chic + really perfect for a bride like me, who wants something amazing, but a little unique too.
I wanted to share some fun photos of me in wedding dresses, and see what you guys thought looked good!
Let me know what you think of the photos in the comment below!
Photo Diary: Trying On Wedding Dresses!
This Watters gown was light grey, and matched with the glittery veil, was totally something super special.
